To set up PGP Encryption, please follow these steps.

1. Go to Settings > PGP Keys and click “Create”. Create and confirm your password, then SAVE.

*** IMPORTANT NOTE: This password is irrecoverable, so it’s important to remember and record this password in a safe place.

2. Go to Settings > Preferences > Encryption. Turn ON “Enable message encryption and signing” Then SAVE.

3. Share your Public (PGP) Key by sending out email(s) to recipients you wish to receive encrypted emails from. In the compose screen ensure “Attached my public key” is turn ON. Please see sample below.

Your contact will receive the following and they will need to click “Import”

4. Your contact can now send you encrypted messages. *** Provided they have also created PGP password (see step 1), but they do not have to share this with you unless they wish to receive encrypted messages from you.

5. When you receive this email, you will be prompted to enter the PGP password you created. Enter and click OK. Then your message will be decrypted.

Please note: This can be used with any email clients that support PGP encryption. It is not limited to only SekurMail users.

Please reach out to our customer support team if you need any further assistance. Thank you.
